Do we build custom cabs?
Yes, we will custom design your residential or commercial elevator to meet the needs of the most discriminating clients. We offer glass cabs, exotic woods, polished bronze, mirrors and composite paneling. Our technical support people
are available to answer your questions and meet with architects or planners.
What is your warranty period?
Our products are built to the highest standards of the industry. As a result of this, we offer the longest warranty in the industry, a full 5 years. Our warranty covers every single component from top floor to basement and everything in between. Click here to read our warranty.
How long has Liftavator been in business?
Liftavator is a family-run, private business that has been building, installing and servicing elevators and lifts since 1982. Our first Liftavator is still in use and going strong.
What type of service does it need?
Liftavator recommends a bi-annual service for all of its products. This service consists of fine adjustments and lubrication, and usually takes about an hour.
How can I get a quotation?
Before we can quote your project, we will need to know the following:
- Rise (distance from highest landing to lowest landing_
- Number of landings served, number of opening on the car, (ex. enter/exit same side, 90° exit, or straight through)
- Commercial or Residential
- Desired options, power doors, custom paneling, etc.
- New or existing construction
- Type of equipment Verti-Lift or elevator
- Location of project - city or state
Where can I see one?
Please call the factory at 716-434-1300 and we will send you a list of projects in your area for you to visit.
How long does it take to manufacture?
Most units can be produced in 6-8 weeks. Installation takes approximately one week.
Do you offer discounts to non-profit groups?
Yes, please tell us about your organization at the time of order to see if you qualify.
As a customer, what are my responsibilities?
The Liftavator requires a shaft with doors (can be provided) built to our specifications, the appropriate power (usually 110V-220V, 1 phase) and a pit. Please see specifications for a full list of provisions/work by others.
Is the Liftavator quiet?
Yes, we use a submerged pump and motor to muffle sound. The pump makes about as much noise as an electric dryer.
